offhour is a small, remote design and engineering studio. This page explains what information we handle when you use offhour.dev or contact us, and how to reach us about it. We keep this short and plain.

What we collect

If you email us, we receive what you send: your name, email address, and anything you write. We also collect basic, aggregate usage data through privacy-friendly analytics, such as page views and performance, which is not used to build a personal profile of you.

Analytics and cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand traffic and site speed. These are designed to respect privacy and do not use tracking cookies to identify you. We also use PostHog for product analytics, to see which pages and features visitors use. It runs cookielessly, with no cookies and no cross-site identifier, so it needs no consent. We also use the Google Ads tag to see whether an ad led to a Growth Teardown request. It stays in a denied state by default and sets a cookie only if you accept in the consent banner, and you can decline at any time.

How we use information

We use what you send to reply to you and to do the work you ask for. We use aggregate analytics to improve the site. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers that help us run the site.

Service providers

The site is hosted on Vercel, which also provides the analytics above. Email you send reaches us through our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the site and our replies.

Your choices

You can ask us to access or delete the information you have sent us. Email us and we will take care of it. Because our analytics do not identify you individually, there is no personal profile to remove there.

We link to other sites, such as our clients and social profiles. Their own privacy practices apply once you leave offhour.dev.
